High Design in Cheshire!

We made this kitchen for clients renovating a beautiful cottage in Cheshire.   The kitchen design works well with a mix of modern, high design cupboards and appliance meeting contemporary vintage styling.

The traditional, belfast sink is complemented  to the left of the sink with two spacious ,modern dishwasher drawers.  These are fully integrated and neatly hidden behind drawer fronts.  Likewise another cupboard door hides a 70l recycling bin with space to separate products as required.  The storage cupboard below belfast sink is thoughtfully a little set back to allow foot room.

Chunky wooden knobs and a black composite worktop and upstand are teamed with  vintage brick style white tiles.  The use of black appliances in the stove and large free standing fridge reflect this stunning, relaxed and very individual look.  The clients further chose an exquisite blocked wallpaper with a bird and branch design above the tiles, adding warmth and pattern.

Beyond the table and chairs, Peter built a cupboard or press with oak interiors to store crockery, tableware and other items close to the table where they will be used, under those wonderful BTC pendant lights, made to an original 1940s design.
