With over 30 years experience Peter has refined his carpentry skills into a fine art. A trained, professional cabinet maker based in Hexham, specialising in handmade fitted kitchens, alcove cupboards, wardrobes, bookcases and home offices.
Founded in an old stable in the rural Leicestershire, he and his family returned to the North East in 2003, setting up the present workshop in Hexham, Northumberland. Over 10 years later, however we are pleased to say that still receive calls from clients in Leicestershire who want us to return to build more wardrobes, alcove cupboards, kitchens etc for them.
Building everything by hand to an agreed design, Peter has the experience, versatility and a great eye for design and detail.
It’s a friendly, growing family business, with an expanding workforce that also draws upon the best local tradesmen we can find when required. Now tucked away on the very pleasant Haugh Lane Industrial Estate in Hexham, Peter and his team take pride in both making and fitting beautiful furniture across the region as well as supporting the local economy.
Building everything by hand to an agreed design, Peter has the experience, versatility and a great eye for design and detail. With a traditional approach to service, and a high level of workmanship, Peter creates timeless classics by ensuring that they are sympathetic to the period of your home.
The majority of Peters projects are based locally, in the north of England: Northumberland, Co. Durham, Cumbria and of course, working in Newcastle upon Tyne, Carlisle, Durham, Hexham and Alnwick . This hasn’t stopped Peter from working, the length and breadth of the country on request, from the remotest shores of Mull of Kintyre, the hustle and bustle of Pimlico, to the quaint thatches in the village of Georgeham in Devon.
